Jurassic Period

The Jurassic was the beginning of the old world "Pangea", starting to split and form continents as we know today. This meant that in this time period, the climate was very warm and wet, which saw the emergence of herbivores, such as Stegosaurus and Brachiosaurus. Unfortunately, for Stegosaurus though, it's brain is to believed to be the size of a ping pong ball! Whereas, the Brachiosaurus weighed about 40 tons, so it was unlikely the Brachiosaurus had any predators at all.

Speaking of Stegosaurus, this herbivore had one arch enemy throughout the Jurassic period, the Allosaurus. The Allosaurus was a carnivorous animal that loved to hunt creatures such as the Stegosaurus, weighing in between 1,500 and 2,300kg and standing at around 15 - 16.5 feet, the Stegosaurus was unfortunately no match.
